DESIGN STUDIO 2 - ASSIGNMENT 1

First proper model for 2009, designed to suit the environment taking into account solar access and existing elements that contribute to the surroundings in Wooloomooloo. This design was created to allow the building to be cool during summer and warm during winter with cross ventilation taking advantage of prevailing winds and not one single tree has been removed. Put quite simply being environmentally alert and sensible in the developing process has paid off in demonstrating a suitable approach to the split block of land.
