Before all peace-and-love, the magic of the rare designer who can make a woman look powerful while she's struggling has claimed victory in a historic election, "change has come”. Presenting in a fresh way for women artists, recasting the focus of popular music, longer length, black pencil skirts sprouted ruffles like wings, this was a long and hard fought campaign but the result was well worth the wait.
I have never been more hopeful than tonight that we will get there, by emphasizing modern grooves in black, brown, navy or gold, lace has become three-dimensional.
True to the kinky side, some pieces were see-through, because a woman's sexuality is part of her power. The catalyst that changed, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides, we as a people will get there to reach a new level of artfulness.
The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. The artist that has an effect on the future direction and influence combines genres, invent styles, beats, dance and music, in our progress to a roaring crowd "This is your victory."
